On June 5, giant pandas Yuan Run and Ai Li each gave birth to a female cub at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Ai Li’s baby girl, who weighs 219 grams, is now the heaviest giant panda cub born at the Chengdu Base on record.
