Mushrumps! The fist-sized porcini buttons have been really buggy this year, so I had to step down a size and pick a few unmerged buttons to avoid the bugs. Even then, some of these still had buggy spots where they were exposed to the air! In Colorado, many species will make mushrumps, but the most well known edible species are lobsters and matsutake. Those two get much larger and sometimes never fully emerge! They're very fun to forage! I'll share more when I have the opportunity to find some. #
