You mentioned a transmission issue & I quote, "Transmission prone to fail with high mileage 150K" As far as I know, and perhaps someone here will correct me, but the ECVT in the current gen RAV4 is supposedly one of the most bullet proof trannies available today.

Dec 28, 2024 · Toyota is standardizing this size across its lineup most recently with the new Camry. Likewise, the hybrid system (non-PHEV) will have the same, newer version now found in the Camry. I wouldn't be surprised if the PHEV comes only in one version that is an extension of the Limited (no SE or XSE versions).

So I bought new OEM TRW 315 MHz sensors (42607-0R010) from a seemingly reputable eBay seller (item 176254537339). I took pictures of the 4 sensors before putting them in, as shown.

Jan 20, 2025 · Hello all. Longtime lurker, first time poster. I'm getting a new RAV4 2025 PHEV. I was thinking what is the current state of the cable corrosion issue. Should I do something (like anti corrosion fluid) or not? Is it fixed in the 2025 models? Any wisdom appreciated.
