KDE Plasma on Wayland vs Wayland Full - openSUSE Forums
Jun 15, 2022 · I just tried running KDE with Wayland. I am on OpenSUSE Leap 15.3 and KDE 5.18 I think next I would try Wayland again when I am on OpenSUSE Leap 15.4 which has a much newer version of KDE. First Plasma (Wayland Full), then I tried Plasma (Wayland). My multi monitor configuration did not work well with Wayland, in either Partial or Full session.
Kububtu vs OpenSUSE? : r/kde - Reddit
I find that many KDE defaults in openSUSE make sense (e.g. Baloo doesn't index file content by default) and the KDE team is doing a great work generally for packaging KDE software. Maybe the strongest difference with Kubuntu is that openSUSE is a bit more "technical", with a lot of nice tools (like Yast, or snapper for the system snapshots ...
