Apr 14, 2005 · P.S. I'm not gonna completely bash Apple , as I think the iMac upgrades are much better as compared to the PM's , however those specs should have been standard in the 1st gen iMac G5 since u can pretty much get similar stuff in $599 PC's now.

Oct 11, 2009 · The specs posted above for the memory my iMac needs are correct - it is the 4200 and not 5300. The fellows at the Apple Dept. of Microcenter were very helpful as well, more helpful than the info given to me at the Apple Store Genius Bar.
