I guide and run 6-12 baits, eight this year. I use the spots I have always used for several years and get moved in on more than I care for also. I drive a fifty mile loop running baits.

That being said, I used to hunt in western mass alot back around 2007-2012 ish and there were alot of bears out there then. I can only imagine how many there must be now.

However, I have read several anecdotal reports from reliable persons of a bear walking right by a hanging OP sack without investigating it (in most cases the OP sack was inside an Ursack ).
