Zhong Man (simplified Chinese: 仲满; traditional Chinese: 仲滿; pinyin: Zhòng Mǎn, born February 28, 1983, in Nantong, Jiangsu) is a Chinese sabre fencer, who competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics, winning the second ever gold medal for China in fencing. [1]

Aug 5, 2024 · ‌When Zhong won men's saber gold at Beijing 2008, hundreds of millions of Chinese people celebrated with him.‌ Winning gold at home was a prize he didn't even dare to dream of, stunning the fencing world. ‌Afterwards he dedicated the win to Bauer, calling him "the best saber coach in the world."

In 2008, Zhong Man won the gold medal in the men's individual sabre in Beijing Olympic Games. In 2013, at the 12th National Games Fencing Project Men's Sabre Team Competition, Jiangsu's team led by Zhong Man defeated Liaoning by 45 to 39.

Fencing is one of four sports which have been featured at every one of the modern Olympic Games. Three types of weapons are used in Olympic Fencing: Foil, Epee and Sabre. All three weapons are practised by both men and women.
