MG ZR - Wikipedia
The MG ZR is an MG branded "hot hatch" version of the Rover 25 supermini class car, produced by MG Rover at their Longbridge plant in Birmingham from 2001 to 2005. Compared to the Rover 25, the ZR featured a number of styling modifications and performance enhancements, such as updated sports suspension and a less baffled exhaust.

Jul 2, 2008 · I think the front of the mk2's is a bit soft, the mesh on the mk1 and individual lights look far more aggressive compared to the almost boring grill on a mk2. Its not bad looking, but just less imposing than a mk1 imo

Apr 4, 2012 · I know the Mk1 you need to check for working heater dials, loose rear wing and that the seats are all fully adjustable. Also on the Mk1 need to check for cooling system for any HGF. What about the MK2 did rover/mg finally get the HGF problem sorted?

Feb 26, 2007 · I only had the MG XPower SV engine in my mk1, powered by the 320 bhp 4·6 L Ford V8. Bugger. I've driven both mk 1and 2 and actually thought the gearbox on the mk1 was smoother! All the outside differences are already listed... inside the dash is different and I think that's about it. The engine isn't the same on all of them.
