Feb 12, 2019 · Definitely the Z650 spends more fuel than my CB500F, almost the same as my Suzuki GSXS1000 that makes 45 MPG going @ 90 ~ 110 MPH and occasionally going @ 120 ~ 130 MPH makes about 40 MPG about 8,000 RPM. Once I start reving the Z650 @ 8,000 ~ 8,500 RPM, it will spend gas like my Suzuki.

Oct 8, 2017 · Hi guys, on a recent 240 km ride with mostly back roads, I got an average fuel consumption of 24.7km/l (58 mpg). I am still in the breaking in phase, keeping the rpms below 5k. I was just wondering what others are getting.

Jul 14, 2020 · 4.3 litres per 100km in a breaking in period on 2019's model on the hilly roads of Croatia at 3.000-4.000 rpms. 300kms ago it had it's first oil and filter change and fuel economy remained the same on 3.000-6.000 rpms.

Aug 16, 2019 · Just for curiosity's sake, over the past couple of weeks I ran 2 tanks of 89 octane through my Z650, then 2 tanks of 87. I really couldn't tell any significant difference in the power delivery between the two, but gas mileage was a different story. With the 89 octane, I averaged a fraction over 55 MPG.

Sep 21, 2018 · Every time i think about getting a different bike (because as we all know the z650 isn't exactly a rocket) i look back at the z a realize it has so much to give. MPG (50+possible/45-50 actual), enough torque to do wheelies, comfortable ergonomics, and isn't horrible with a passenger. i am not the most experienced rider and i am learning more ...

Apr 7, 2023 · I looked at the methods to clear the fault code from the dash, which all looked messy, starting and stopping 3 times etc. I took it out for a gentle run stopped at 42 miles to take a few pics, when I started the Z the light was off and has stayed off. I have not noticed any change in performance , mpg seems slightly better but I didn't push it.
