Jun 11, 2009 · First, you must have a 300zx 1990-1996 Z32 5 speed transmission. It can be a twin turbo or a non turbo transmission. The internals of them are identical; the only difference being the size of the bell housing (which we will not be using).

This harness is specifically engineered for a Z32 LHD 300zx / Z32 RHD Fairlady Z with the RB26DETT engine swap. It was developed in house on an actual RB26DETT engine to ensure a perfect fit to all engine connections.

Sep 19, 2013 · There is a company that makes bolt in mounts with a custom swaybar to retain the rb26 aluminum oil pan. You can swap the front half of the rb transmission and the vg transmission and keep the same ds. Radiator has to be relocated forward of the core support.

Nov 26, 2008 · The rb26 and rb25 bell housing can be mated with any Z32 transmission (since both turbo and n/a are identical internally) without changing the input shaft to compensate for the difference in rb and z32 bell housing length.

Jan 20, 2007 · After fidgeting with it for a long time, I said screw it and decided to see if I could get the Z32 CAS to work. I had a cut Z32 harness, so I just depinned the connector from the Z32 cas, and swapped it over after removing the RB26 connector.

Jan 3, 2007 · Single turbo VG like the VG30DET is a better proposition for most purposes in my opinion, whatever sized turbo you put on the 2.6 liter you can go bigger with the 3 liter. The straight six is a lot easier to work on and develop though. The RB26 should be nice in the Z32, no doubt, if only to get some under bonnet space.
