Yves' wild antics and rebellious persona might appear refreshing to some, but having seen them live, it's painfully clear that they were tweaking too hard to perform properly and is far from okay, and needs help.

Mar 22, 2023 · Meteora Blues is maybe my favorite song of the year so far. Stunning track. I guess I'm boring because Yves Tumor's music has become more listenable to me over the course of their career... but I'm less into experimental noise pop like Safe in the Hands of Love and much more into guitar heavy compositions like this album mostly features.

Love Yves to death and have to agree with this. It was still a fun show but the amount of lip syncing and just straight up using the backing vocals was a bit of a let down. Still had a good time but compared to other shows I've been to recently (Viagra Boys, Animal Collective) it just didn't have the same level of energy or fun

Yves Tumor, aka Sean Bowie, is an experimental R&B artist from Tennessee. They learned to play several instruments as a teenager, including the bass, guitar, and keyboard. wow, this is a sick little yves earworm. love how anthemic it is, it's really catchy. those guitars slowly rising towards the end sound incredible. i would bet it's a one-off track to hype the rescheduled tour dates as opposed to the beginning of a new album rollout, given that they're touring in september and that'd be cutting it pretty close ...
