Apr 23, 2009 · The Yugoslavian Zastava M57 is a updated/improved Tokarev variant developed in 1957 for the military of the no-longer-existing country of Yugoslavia; Zastava is now a Serbian company. The M57 is not an exact clone of the Soviet T30 or T33, unlike the Romanian Tokarevs now available, although it is pretty close.

Sep 12, 2009 · I just bought a nice-looking M57 Yugo (Zastava). My buddy and I took it to the range today. It was shooting fine for about 50 or 60 rounds, then after firing the last round in the magazine, instead of the slide locking open (as it should), it closed about halfway, and I could not retrieve the empty magazine.

Jul 16, 2011 · Hi TOK Nuts (M57). Been a while since I got mine and am still enjoying it. I have improved my front yard shootin' range a little. I have been shooting my pistols at about 35 yards just for the fun of it. I do best at that range with my M57, P1 Walther and suprisingly a little P64 I recently purchased but it hurts to shoot.

Dec 26, 2010 · been looking for a Yugo m57 my gun dealer said he could get an "a" 90% grade pistol for $235 I thought cool lets do this. When I went to inspect the gun and do the paperwork I was shocked at the poor condition it was in for an "a" grade pistol the top of the slide was so deeply scratched you could barely make out the Yugo crest ...

Nov 6, 2022 · I have a new manufacture Zastava M57 pistol. I hate the Soviet style iron sights. Does anybody know if more modern replacement sights are available? Are there sights for other models that will work on a M57?
