The Zastava M98/48 (often called Mod.98/48, Model. 98/48, Yugo K98k) was a refurbished bolt-action rifle, chambered for the 7.92×57mm Mauser, a cartridge that was temporarily adopted in the years after World War II by the Yugoslav People's Army.

This offering is for the pictured Yugoslav K98 Mauser Rifle. In good looking condition, it is a German WW2 K98 rifle that has been thru Yugoslav rebuild and refurbishment program in the post war years. Somewhat matching serial numbers, receiver is Z7789 bolt and stock Z7788.

Jan 4, 2014 · I've never seen a butchered/sporterized/bubba'ed Yugo K98k, or just a Yugo K98k barreled action. So, my guess would be that there's still little to no demand for these stocks - aside from parts. Thoughts? They can be used on a mixmaster sporter, a re-enactor gun, or to save an original stock from getting messed up while shooting.
