To fit 5e design space, it should have been d6 or a martial weapon, but the former would have made this weapon boring, and the latter would have make the weapon inaccessible to Monks. FWIW, among the given examples, many tables would be ok with a two-handed weapon, and certainly a versatile one.

Oct 31, 2022 · This is one of my big issues with 5E. Both of these weapons do the same damage type but are completely different weapon types. They should not be interchangeable. The Yklwa is a bladed stabbing weapon that would 'never' be used against armor. The Warpick is a bludgeoning weapon designed specifically to be used against armor.
