The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange & Study (YES) Program provides scholarships for secondary school students from countries with significant Muslim populations to spend up to one academic year in the United States and to U.S. citizens attending high school to spend up to one academic year in select countries.

Kennedy-Lugar YES students provide a dynamic and creative learning opportunity to U.S. classrooms by bringing alternative perspectives. At the same time, these students gain an understanding of American values and explore new models of leadership.
