Control of your electronic functions, like the switchable ABS and traction control systems, is done through the dash. There’s also a re-designed headlight for 2025. And, all these changes have added a bit of weight to the T7.

It has just the right amount of power, and I say that having ridden a Husky Norden 901, Triumph 1200 Tiger Rally Pro, KTM 390, Toureg 660, 525 EXC, Honda XR650L ...

The XT660Z can drop a lot of weight with an exhaust swap and leave the T7 really lagging behind in the weight game. The T7 may have a slender profile, but are Yamaha just trying to sell us on styling, HP, and fancy videos, not one of the more important factors (weight), or are they going to try and tell us the power to weight ratio is better?

Aug 3, 2021 · Reading all the threads of T7 in the forum I realized that there are many solutions to fix the exhaust issue in case of falling on the right side without damaging the swingarm of the Tenere, as in these photos that I found here (one of them It's from motojunky21, I borrowed it without him knowing! ... sorry mate)

Feb 3, 2022 · Just doing some internet sleuthing, I would say the T7 hubs will not work with Aprilia Rims for a number of reasons. 1)-Aprilia uses 40 spokes /wheel-Tenere 700 uses 36 Probably biggest reason for incompatibility. 2)-Aprilia spokes are evenly spaced-Tenere 700 groups the spokes in 4's Spoke nipple angles will be all wrong. 3)

The aftermarket picks up for the T7. The new Concept Seats line for the T7 is a sign of the times. As the Yamaha Tenere 700 shows up in North American showrooms, the aftermarket is gearing up to meet its perceived or real shortcomings. Corbin also has new seat options, and Touratech has a whole new list of add-ons as well.

I skipped the T7 for now (not willing to pay 28% above list) and added a 701 to the stable. Some interesting bikes out there - 901, Toureg, DesertX, 890, T7 raid . . .

Nov 17, 2006 · My butt dyno feels like a longer snorkel has better low end. Very impressed with the T7 fueling stock. I did feel a difference with side cover vents. I tend to ride it at higher RPM's with a 1" shorter snorkel inlet.

Aug 3, 2024 · The more powerful T7 engine and longer wheelbase will be a benefit on the open road. If we get the 450MT in the states for $6,500 it will be a very popular bike. $900 less than the NX500. MT = oil and filter @ 3,000 miles/6 months vs 6,000 miles/12 months T7. MT spark plugs @ 6,000 miles vs 12,000 miles T7

May 30, 2020 · My local suspension shop needs the oem spring dimensions to get me some ordered. K-tech is out of stock. Anybody have the specs. Even the the Yamaha shop does not have the specs, or a spring upgrade for the T700. Odd that they would underspring the bike and then not have anything to upgrade for heavier riders.
