Jan 25, 2022 · XM4 clone build as configured just prior to the adoption of the flat top M4 Carbine. M&A Fiberlite stock, Colt 4-position buffer tube, Spikes standard lower, Doublestar A2 upper, DSA 14.7" M4 barrel with pinned A2 flash hider, Colt M4 handguards. It turned out pretty good if you ask me. Any criticism or advice is appreciated.

The XM5s generally has less moving parts because it doesn't fold. In theory that should prolong the headphones life when it comes to build. I've had mine since May and have no issues with the build, I like them alot. That being said I had my XM3s …

I’ve been using the XM4 since day one and it’s my favorite gun (along side the AK47) and also my most used gun w/ a 1.5 k/d so trust me when I say I’ve tried every combination of attachments and have even searched for various loadouts on Google.

Sep 25, 2020 · 4+ months after the XM4 release I can't find any reports of cracked headbands. I think there's a reasonable chance this issue is finally solved, but it won't hurt to wait a few more months to be certain. I plan to wait until the next significant deal. If they go below $300 and there are still no such reports, I'll probably bite the bullet.

Apr 12, 2021 · Actually IRL the XM4 was almost the same as a modern 14.5" M4, with the exception of having an "A2 style" upper receiver (this supposedly carried through to the first order of M4s for the military until the switch to flat top uppers with the second shipment) and a Gen 2/3 carbine stock. Early XM4s had skinny handguards as well.

Oct 9, 2022 · And sound quality was actually better on xm4 (I prefer my noise cancelling headphones to be bass heavy). Eventually I returned the xm5 n kept xm4 because its 99% as good as xm5 at half the price. Edit : yes. Xm4 has a slight white noise when in NC mode but I hardly use it without music anyway, so it didn't bother me.
