Jan 27, 2017 · I am new to Xcom, and having trouble figuring out what all of the in game icons and indicators mean. Is there a list that shows what all of the indicator graphics mean? For example, when looking at move options, for some areas, I get an overwatch / eye icon in red with an exclamation mark.

May 23, 2017 · When a mission pops up, it has a symbol. So far, they usually are a green dude with a target and a grey running dude. I initially assumed the target meant a fighting mission and a running dude meant covert mission, but I've found that not to be true. So, what do they mean?

Discussion sub for the turn-based strategy game from Firaxis, XCOM 2. What does this symbol on the soldier list represent? All my soldiers are similar to this question, but using "Dominguez" as an example, he has a yellow symbol with "15" adjacent to it - directly below his last name.

Red means they are visible, yellow means they are flanked, with the exception of flying enemies. Yellow can also mean they are not in cover. Yellow is when they have no cover bonus gainst that particular soldier - either they are out in the open of the soldier has gotten a position where the alien's cover is no longer between it and the soldier.

In combat, your selected soldier's rank is displayed as an icon at the bottom left corner of the screen. Sometimes a yellow star or a white cross will appear on top of it. What do these icons signify? Are there any others? The yellow star indicates the squad leader, typically the highest ranking or most seasoned soldier in the squad.

The top right corner on away missions have 4 icons: 3 crosshairs connected by lines, call skyranger, X to end turn, and the 2 lines to game menu. What do the crosshairs mean? If its for an individual soldier its shot everone once.. but its an icon for the whole squad? Thanks. Idk what you mean.
