But do not get two until you have played and beaten one, because, IMHO, once you have gone to two, you have moved on past one, and there is no going back. I hope that makes sense, in a crazy way.

XCOM 2 runs more on rule of cool than XCOM EU/EW does, so I like it better because I'm a total bitch XCOM EU/EW was the more challenging game imo, Long War 1 even more so. Dec 21, 2024 · *EDIT* Also, no, Xcom 2 does not have the same issue. Installing Xcom 2 and running it and then running Xcom 1 is one of the many supposed solutions. I tried this and it did finally work, only for another issue to emerge. I tried playing EW and it crashed my PC at the end of the first mission every single time I tried.

Nov 8, 2020 · Bureau: XCOM Declassified is not necessary and it's not considered as very good game, but you can play it before or after EU/EW if you want to. XCOM 2 (also has expansion, War of the Chosen) introduces Vipers, but they are not playable except in multiplayer and with mods. Finally, XCOM: Chimera Squad has a Viper as a playable character.
