U92 The Moose, WWVU-FM is the independent student-run college radio station of West Virginia University. The station broadcasts on 91.7 on the FM dial and is the source of new music and broadcaster development at WVU.

Airing Mondays at 8 p.m., the show features bands performing in and around Morgantown, the state of West Virginia and surrounding local areas, as well as any other music important to the local community.

Mar 20, 2025 · The West Virginia University Mountaineers (18-1) host the Arizona University Wildcats (16-4) in the Mountaineers’ first Big 12 home series. The Mountaineers are 1-0 in conference play, with a win against preseason favorite Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.

Sep 5, 2023 · Since being founded in 1982, the station has broadcasted two WVU football games; WVU vs. Long Island University (2021) and WVU vs. Towson (2022). In the 2023 Football season, U92 will be doubling that by broadcasting the games against Duquesne and Pitt.

Morgantown, W.Va. (Aug. 24, 2024) - U92 The Moose will broadcast West Virginia University’s first home football game of the 2024 season versus Penn State on Aug. 31, 2024. West Virginia opened up against Penn State last year but fell short with a final score of 38-15.

Mar 5, 2025 · The West Virginia Mountaineers (12-0) take on the Kennesaw State Owls (5-9) in game one of a three game set. The Mountaineers have been red hot to open this season after twelve straight wins to open the year and to achieve the best start in school history.
