I did not have an issue connecting my NG Extender to my NG router. The issue is the annoying, contantly blinking, WPS light. I spent 2 hours on the phone with NG support. We went through a complete reinstall of the RAX200 Router and 7700 Extender. It was a waste of time, as the WPS light still blinks contantly.

Mar 13, 2021 · I'd expect the WPS light to do something when WPS is being used to let a device make a wireless connection to the extender. As a security feature, the extender is not always receptive to a WPS connection request; it's receptive only for "two minutes" after you "press the WPS button on your router or access point." And the WPS light flashes.

Jul 17, 2020 · To try to get the WPS light lit, I depressed the WPS button on the extender and then while blinking, depressed the WPS button on my router about 30 seconds later. No effect. In the past, it reliably always resulted in a solid green WPS light on the extender. I again depressed the WPS button on the printer and then on the extender. No joy.

It usually fluctuates between Green and Orange. It usually goes red for just a few seconds. The ROUTER light stays GREEN through all of this. I understand the POWER and WPS light.
