Willie Love Jr. (November 4, 1906 – August 19, 1953) [1] was an American Delta blues pianist. He is best known for his association with and accompaniment of Sonny Boy Williamson II.

Willie Love was a Delta pianist who played with Elmore James & 'Sonny Boy II' on many great records in the early 50s, but a hard-drinking lifestyle killed him.

Trumpet Records founder and owner Lillian McMurry pressed up a limited supply of this record and sent the test pressing back to the pressing plant to get more made. The plant burned down with the test pressing in it so she had to re-record the record (see below)
