Wicker armor is the poor soldier's last resort. Tightly woven reeds cover the entire body, offering slightly more protection than normal clothes, although the wicket is bulky and loud. The main advantage of wicket armor is its low cost and light weight.

Wicker itself is just a woven fiber (any fiber, mostly plant fibers, but sometimes plastic is used as well) formed into a rigid material. The shield itself is a wickerwork shield made with the core of a rattan stick.
