Jul 6, 2023 · War Scythe is the best weapon in the game (real). Before the normal hit calculation, there is a 70% chance to miss. Only if you pass that one, the normal calculation even starts. That is usually not a problem because of the amount of targets (2 legs, 2 arms, head, body, stinger). Your Acc is lowered to 30%, but you do 6 additional attacks.

Dec 19, 2022 · Well, I built my first playthrough around the War Scythe. (It's my favorite weapon) I started with tearing upgrades, but suckerstone was a pain to get, so I ended up getting a second War Scythe and upgrading it fully through the Sharp path and using Light Weapon. I also had a Quality Halberd and a Blessed Mirdan Hammer. Also had a shield and a bow.

Jun 23, 2015 · I agree with this. A common scythe is heavy and awkward to use as a weapon. For a fantasy "war scythe" start by making it martial, 1d8, add a die for two handed, and potentially another die for heavy. So either 1d10 or 1d12 slashing. It'd probably weigh similar to a greataxe.

May 23, 2022 · This is the exceptional version of a Scythe. It is a solid choice for an early Insight but it is not worth very much I'm afraid. A Thresher (elite version of Scythe) on the other hand would have some value if 4os. Charsi or make yourself an Insight for the early levels.

Kinda, a war scythe is heavily different in appearance to a farming scythe which i feel is what OP is looking for in terms of reference. A war scythe is more akin to a glaive or halberd - with it have a straighter blade and often having a pike or some such on the end of a straight pole. But yes, the war scythe is definitely better suited to combat!
