Dec 17, 2004 · Basically, what I am trying to find out is some benefits to having a higher resolution screen from WXGA,WSXGA, AND WUXGA. This is what I think that I understand. By going to a higher resolution the text becomes smaller so it maybe harder to read but you can fit more on a screen and it is with better quality.

WXGA vs. WUXGA - more ghosting on WUXGA, then on WXGA
Jan 29, 2004 · On WUXGA you have shorter distances as on WXGA, so you will see the cursor is moving slower ( speed in millimeters per second ) then on WXGA. Higher speed pixels per second means higher ghosting. This effect causes that you have more ghosting on WUXGA then WXGA if you move your cursor with same speed millimetrs per second. Nov 6, 2006 · At least in the US site it is made clear that the options 15.4 Inspiron options are WXGA, WXGA with Truelife (both 1280 x 800), and WSXGA+ with TrueLife (1680 x 1050 too small for me). Bottom line is what I am looking for is an Inspiron 15.4 1280 x 800 with Truelife (glossy screen) which does not appear to be an option in Dell's Canadian website.
