Jan 3, 2010 · Alrighty, so you want to do a vr6 swap into another mk3. Here's what you need. (OBD2 swap) OBD2 car so any jetta or golf 96 to mk3 99. 99.5 is a mk4, and way harder to work with. If you do end up with a passat or something else it will be harder. If all you can get is a front clip, hopefully it has the shifter.
