There are three types of Downloadable Content (DLC) in Vermintide 2: Campaigns, Cosmetics, and Careers. A campaign includes new Missions to play with a new story following up on the original game. In addition, these DLC's unlock extra Challenges, Quests and Cosmetics.

Versus is the fifth free DLC for Vermintide 2, released on 14 November 2024 (and teased 30 September 2019). In this new chapter, players are thrust into intense 4 vs 4 battles where they can take on the role of Skaven specials or fight as one of the Heroes of Ubersreik 5.

Winds of Magic is the most contentious DLC, offering one new map, a new faction of enemies in the beastmen, a new difficulty option in cataclysm, and the thoroughly disliked weave system.

Class DLC all contain 1 weapon dedicated to the class, and 1 weapon that can be used in the other classes. Most map dlc contain at least 1 weapon per character, but I suggest double checking, since I can't remember exactly off the top of my head.

Jul 23, 2021 · Forgotten relics is a good first dlc to get, the rest is optional for new players, or people who played within first 100 hours of their gameplay, after that it will be easier for player to decide if they want to buy more dlcs, let it be map dlc expansion, or character unlocking dlc.
