Aug 12, 2015 · I have never heard of anyone blowing up a v7 ej207, 400whp is easily attainable on stock internals with those engines thanks to their forged internals and semi closed blocks. If you are looking for the strongest 2.0l block, i believe the ej20g is a closed deck block.
