Apr 7, 2021 · The Urfa Man, is an ancient human shaped statue found in excavations in Balıklıgöl near Urfa, in the southeast of modern Turkey. It is dated circa 9000 BC to the period of the Pre-Pottery Neolithic, and is considered as "the oldest naturalistic life-sized sculpture of a human".

Aug 20, 2018 · Possibly the oldest man-made statue in existence, it was excavated at Balıklıgöl, and currently resides at Şanlıurfa Archaeology and Mosaic Museum. It is clearly connected with the culture that built Gobekli Tepe, the oldest man-made site in the world - also in Turkey.

Feb 23, 2015 · Urfa Man. The oldest statue to have ever been found at 13,500 years old. He is holding his genitals with both hands.

These look like a much much later and far far crappier version of Urfa Man. It's not beyond reason that these could be a distant connection to a past long-forgotten when they were made.
