Jul 14, 2008 · Fred,the brckt should be snug to the bolster before you tighten. For what ever reason,maybe welding drawed it that much,you need to use spacers or cut the weld. I would use some 5/8 USS washers and maybe lock tight. Yes,the nuts that Ford recommend were the same as the rear wheel. Remove one and try it. Good luck.

Sep 12, 2024 · While it's not moving the loader and 3 point hitch work normally. It will start and stop every few seconds then eventually work ok. Reverse seems ok. It does this in all gears and all transmission ranges. I've replaced all fluids and filters with no improvement. My friend took the tractor to an old Ford mechanic who said he could fix it.
