Dec 28, 2007 · Just installed TweakUI (using administrator privileges) in order to easily disable autoplay of flash drives and CD/DVD's. Problem is that, in a Limited User Account (LUA), windows does not automatically block autoplay on pens and CD's. Instead, it asks what to do (which is what I had specified in each drive's Properties > Autoplay settings).

Aug 23, 2009 · Thank you both for your input. I'd like to fix that blank icon but I can't see installing an 18MB driver just for that. I wish Vista had something like TweakUI where you can hide Control Panel icons. I have Ultimate Windows Tweaker and XdN Tweaker but you can't hide CP icons with either one of them.

Apr 22, 2007 · Never did find a solution -- TweakUI has repairs for many special folders, but Favorites isn't one of them. Installing IE-7 did clear up the problem, suggesting that the Favorites folder had become corrupted and was replaced with a clean version in the new installation. No ideas about suggestions if you've already got IE-7, sorry. (Edit) As a P.S.
