Aug 27, 2012 · One of the main difference between Tukui and Elvui is that Tukui is designed around Blizzard default UI, whereas Elvui goes along the same premise but with a lot of extra features already built in (take the GUI for an example). Like Elvui, most things from Tukui are configured automatically and the UI as a whole will work straight out of the box.

May 28, 2023 · If you use the Tukui Client it will update ElvUI without needing to do anything other than hit the Update button. Of course, it appears the website is experiencing some technical issues as the server appears to be out of disk space (caused me to laugh a little). Anyways, I like using the Tukui client since it's so damn easy to use.

Nov 19, 2019 · But back then tukui was more customisable and elvui more user friendly. However, i dont know if this is still true. Both are great UI suites, serving the same purpose, but experience is different.

Aug 12, 2019 · In this case its TukUI, meaning you extract that folder to your addons, the TukUI-Classic is just info that you have downloaded the classic version. Like in github, you need to USUALLY remove the "-master" from the folder (only example comes to mind is questie that has added the github downloaded file with the -master in the actual *.toc filename.

Feb 20, 2021 · I recommend using the tukui client to make sure you are installing the right version. There is a retail branch and a classic branch of the ui for each, so if you install the retail to classic or vice versa it errors all over.
