Dj : The next thing to check is the current that the fuel pump draws. This will require an amp gauge. The easiest way to hook up the gauge is to put one lead from your amp meter to the (+) battery post and the other lead to FP in the DIAGNOSIS connector next to the fuse box.

Customer: I have a 86 Toyota R22 truck. It takes forever to start when it has been sitting for a few hours. Runs great after it starts. I have replaced the fuel pump. Any thoughts on how to fix this, it is a great truck but not when I don't know if it will start. If I spoke the carb, it starts and runs fine

Customer: 82 toyota 4x4 P.U. Installed a rebuilt carb on 22r motor. Didn't pass emissions so took it to a shop (of idiots it turns out). Any way it passed emissions but now runs like crap. I found out they messed with idle-type screw they found on the drivers right side of carb.
