Mar 3, 2024 · Tomari, Naha and Shuri were three major villages in Okinawa, when it was still called the Ryukyu Islands. Tomari was the seaport, Naha was the military hub, and Shuri was the seat of government. This hierarchy continued until the fall of the Islands when the Satsuma clan from Japan conquered the main island of the Ryukyus in 1609.

Reiichiro Tomari (苫利 礼一郎) was a minor antagonist of Taimanin Kurenai. A former Taimanin of the Fuuma clan, he worked as an agent for Yamamoto Nobushige and Section Three but behind his back wished to enslave Kurenai and Ayame.
