Jan 7, 2019 · A tomahawk is good for surviving in the wilderness, building a quick shelter, fighting Indians.... It is probably not so good for felling trees, splitting a rick of firewood, or carving spoons, garden gnomes, or cigar store Indians. None of which I, personally, have ever found the need to do while roaming around in the woods.

Dec 3, 2024 · I checked here and can't seem to find anything. Anyway, do any PA bros know is it legal to open carry tomahawks in PA (outside of obvious prohibited areas, cities, etc)? Would a spike tomahawk be considered a "dagger" ( ) in PA? I have a current and legal PA LTCF... does that make things better for me?

The term "bury the hatchet" is thought to have come from the use of Tomahawks in peace signings where a hollowed out Tomahawk would be used to smoke from.
