Select the icon with a yellow lighting bolt, called Execute Script. 5. Give the Action a name and hit OK. 6. Double click on this action, listed in the "Vault" tab. 7.

Toad uses the Oracle-provided DBMS_OUTPUT package, which contains functions for debugging PL/SQL code. When enabled, it uses a buffer that your PL/SQL code writes into and then a separate process queries the buffer out and displays the contents.

To install Toad. Run the ToadInstaller.exe. For individual installation, the .exe file is recommended. The Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable is required by Toad. This software is included in the installation when using the .exe file, but not when using the .msi file.
