Thomdril "Thom" Merrilin is a character in The Wheel of Time portrayed by Alexandre Willaume. He meets Rand al'Thor and Mat Cauthon at an inn while they are looking for their friends. Thom Merrilin was born and raised in Caemlyn, the capital city of Andor.

Thom tells Rand that he suspects Mat may be able to channel, as his suspicious behavior resembles that of Thom's nephew Owyn, who could channel but killed himself after being gentled by Aes Sedai. That night, a Fade kills the family.
