Apr 9, 2024 · Reference being that if I clean and degrease a gun's interior, a little light grease might protect things pretty well and eventually be replaced by gun oil as needed. So, when I clean the interior of my new 605, I'm thinking a light coating of light grease on contact points might serve well, and eventually be dissolved by gun oil, if at all.

Jul 17, 2016 · Added a 13/16" OD thin washer installed onto the plunger tube first, followed by spacer. The washer makes compressing the spring a lot easier. Also added a 2" length of 3/8" wooden dowel rod epoxied inside the plunger tube to help keep the 'legs' of the tube from bowing under the added pressure from shimming the spring.
