May 23, 2023 · They are OEM standard on a few high end EVs, I think BMW and Porsche and some Tesla models. Unfortunately the 18" is not available in summer in the US---perfect tire for me and millions of others in SoCal. Interestingly there is now a Pirelli "SottoZero" winter tire with "Elect" and apparently Tesla tagged in 235/45R18

Aug 20, 2022 · It's fantastic and checks a lot of boxes, but since software is really important to us, we just wish that Tesla had a comparable option. So with that said, I'm curious to hear from others that are in similar boat, whether you have a family and need a true SUV or just wanting a SUV in general that can complete with the Rivian R1S for example.

Dec 9, 2024 · I had checked out the Hankook iON evo AS SUV EV 255/45 at Discount Tires, they mentioned there's no treadwear warranty on those. They recommended the Yokohama ADVAN Sport EV A/S EV tires comparable, which come with a 55,000-mile warranty.

Aug 25, 2021 · Replaced by 20 inch Hankook iON evo SUV IK01A Summer tires. Hesitated a lot, but the idea Tesla put Hankooks on their Highland M3 convinced me to try it. Btw, the offer of Tesla to replace the tires was twice as much as the replacement and alignment by a tire-center and ordering the tires by myself via internet (€ 2200 versus € 1050).
