Mar 23, 2023 · Just finished the last of the adjustments on the Tesla K80 project. It is now running at roughly 1.2 gHz core and 4 gHz effective on memory. It took a long time and a lot of patience, but it'll run Shadow of Mordor at about 50-60 fps at ultra settings 1080p.

Nov 26, 2020 · Yeah I had a older Tesla k20x and before I built my new pc, my motherboard didn’t have “Above 4G Decoding” in the bios, so with a second gpu I would get device manger errors. I haven’t ever had a external gpu enclosure or a laptop capable of it but I would expect issues with Tesla cards because they can be weird.

May 4, 2023 · Ok, so I was able to get the K80 working with the alternative torch build that I linked in my other comment. I ran torch.cuda.is_enabled() in python, and it returned True. The Automatic1111 webui is being a pain though, since the install script automatically downloads newer torch binaries.
