Mar 1, 2020 · I never played Tenchu Z, but I did play the original Tenchu on the PS1 back in the 90's. Loved that game but it was tough. One of the early complete stealth games. You were rewarded for completing missions without being spotted.

Jan 16, 2020 · As much as I love the Tenchu series... its a little but late for them to be putting games on the list of backwards compatible titles. They snubbed the Xbox One's backwards compatibility program as of E3 2019 in order to prep for the launch of the now announced Xbox Series X console this year.

I know that there was voting for backwards compatible games through the Xbox Ideas website but that was closed quite sometime back. Unfortunately at this time they are not taking more suggestions for games that could be made available.

Im speaking on the idea that i feel the game Tenchu:Return From Darkness should be able to play on the kinect XBOX 360, yet it is not because it is not on the list for backwards compatibility original XBOX games that can be played on the kinect XBOX 360.

Apr 12, 2019 · Be aware that various developers and publishers have been involved in the Tenchu series over the years. This has caused some issues with the game license and who actually owns the intellectual property rights. Only the 360 Arcade version of Tenchu has any possibility of BC at the moment. The other games were delisted from Xbox Live.
