Jan 13, 2021 · Not far from the edge of the mountain, in Jämtland Sweden, lies Talasbuan fäbod. It stood empty for 80 years before Tova and Mathias decided to give new life to the old place. There is no easy way to translate the Swedish word fäbod into English.

Tova och Mathias bor i en fäbod som heter Talasbuan mitt ute i Jämtlands skogarna. Här vill de leva nära naturen och föra vidare en berättelse om tradition samt ett sätt att leva hållbart.

En bit från fjällets kant ligger Talasbuan fäbod, I runt 80 år stod den tom innan vi bestämde oss för att åter befolka platsen. Området som fäboden ligger I har sedan länge varit en plats för hundratals fäbodar och under många gångna år har kornas klockor klämtat genom dessa skogar.
