On 12/1/2001, this aircraft flew the final TWA flight from Kansas City to St. Louis. The TWA livery was later changed to AA and the MD-83 flew until being retired in July of 2014. Tristar Experience of Kansas City purchased the aircraft and re-applied the Wings of Pride livery. The MD-83 was flown from Rosewell to Kansas City.
