I didnt realize how much it skipped until then, and once you read it you can see all the plot holes in the anime. I dropped the anime after ep 5, and am happy with my choice.

May 10, 2021 · TPN is super popular on a global scale, so I don’t understand why they gave us the bare minimum of a follow up for one of the most anticipated seasons of anime ever. Is there a chance we could potentially get a better continuation of the anime after season 1 in the future?

This is a bit strange. So the first three or four episodes of the anime cover what's right after the escape pretty faithfully but the skip what's in the manga. So if you're worried about being anime spoiled then you should go watch episodes 1-3, read chapters 38-50, then read chapters 51 to 95. Then continue with the anime.

Mar 26, 2021 · As a big fan of TPN, I was devastated by season 2. Season 1 was and still is one of my favorite anime. I also really love the manga despite the flaws in the second half. I really hope we get a remake one day, but unfortunately that seems unlikely.
