In spring 1941, the National Police received 18 TK-3 tankettes, some with the 20mm gun, while in summer 1941 the Army received 18 TKS, 4 of them being sent to the Ustashe Militia.

The first cannon tested in the tankette was a Swiss semi-automatic 20 mm Solothurn S18-100, four of which were bought in 1935. It was fitted in one TKS tankette, using a provisional mount at first, which did not allow to train the weapon right due to its magazine.
