Toonhud is great for people who want to customize their hud without actually having to learn how to customize it under the hood. I also recommend Rays and Budhud, as those are my two favorites. I currently use Budhud, which also has a fair bit of customization.

This HUD is very pleasing to look at. Very colorful, and very in the style of TF2. If you're looking for a HUD with better readability than the default HUD, but you really like the default HUD, then FrankenHUD is for you. However, this HUD has major readability issues compared to most of the other HUDs listed here.

Aug 8, 2022 · Improved Default Hud. In my opinion. Every other HUD is out of place, while Default HUD looks cool and doesn't look so out of place. The custom HUDs are usually position Health and Ammo counter closer to the center, it may be useful for someone, but I find it...eh. Now, Improved Default HUD is basically default HUD but it improves it.

They're always just a bunch of numbers in random spots on the screen, no pizzazz, nothing that really feels like me, y'know? If there's a HUD out there that looks cool and stylish, please recommend it to me.

Feb 12, 2023 · I've downloaded TF2 HUDs (BudHUD, ToonHUD, etc.) from multiple websites (Gamebanana, GitHUB) and not a single one worked. I look for the most recent .zip file and download it, from there I export it to my Downloads folder and then bring the extracted folder to my TF2 custom folder (steamapps - common - Team Fortress 2 - tf - custom).
