Szeth dancing was such a visceral read. It reminded me of Kaladin dancing on the wind. It was really pure. Szeth has been my favorite since WoK. Im looking forward to him and Kal traveling together. I hope they can both find some peace of mind and bond together.

Oct 13, 2020 · Szeth was a very respected member of his society, once. There are clues to what happened in his story, but you won't hear it in full until he gets his book. (Which will include his flashbacks.) WOB. Indeed it seemed Szeth was quite well respected. We'll have to hold out for another 3-4 years to learn much more though.
Did Szeth break his oaths at the end of RoW?
Aug 13, 2024 · If Szeth believed that by doing this he was protecting Dalinar, it most likely wouldn't matter. However it seems it wasn't done for this reason, Szeth did it out of anger. He disobeyed Dalinar, but I don't think it would mean breaking oaths. He just went a step backwards. Szeth hasn't sworn the 4th Ideal yet, so he still has to follow Dalinar.

However, if Szeth gets to use night blood then it’s game over because that sword is arguably the most OP weapon in the whole cosmere.
