Feb 19, 2025 · Synapse 4 allows for a separate delay, while Synapse 3 has the delay as a function of the key press. I had a Tartarus v2, until one of the keys stopped working, and I now have the Tartarus Pro. Due to the numerous bugs, and issues with Synapse 4, I have “downgraded” to Synapse 3 and it now is working perfectly.

Nov 10, 2022 · Then yesterday when I booted my pc I think synapse 3 updated and now it won't detect the mouse at all, and the just wasn't using the color profile I set. My best guess is that the Synapse update broke something. I tried repairing, uninstalling and reinstalling Synapse, unplugging and replugging the mouse, rebooting the pc, but nothing worked.

I'm legitimately laughing at people saying Synapse is causing poor performance. There's no way that I can go from my 3 year old laptop to my new desktop without performance issues from Synapse and yet read that people actually blame Synapse for performance issues. It's laughable. Take a look at Cortex if you're having problems.

I just got the synapse beta, which must be 4, definitely looks different. I've struggled for two days with lift off distance though. On Synapse 3 I could set my mouse pad as a custom profile, and had liftoff on 2. Now I can't set a surface and can't find a liftoff that works with my Viper V3 Pro
