Suki was one of the strongest warriors, Sokka became a tactical master, Mai was literally with the old Firelord (and who is presumably the mother of the new Firelord, and Tai Lee was a capable Kyoshi warrior and masterful at her chi-block technique.

Jul 26, 2021 · This is the third ATLA one-shot graphic novel, forming a thematic trilogy with the released Katara and The Pirate's Silver and Toph Beifong's Metalbending Academy. It takes place during the show, while Suki is imprisoned in The Boiling Rock (so sometime between S2E16 and S3E14). The comic releases July 27th mass market and the 28th in comic stores.

Jun 11, 2021 · finally, the suki centric avatar content i’ve been waiting for! i really like the introduction of biyu, she seems like a cool enough character with some substance and lots of potential. suki’s immediate correction to azula completely butchering the pronunciation of sokka’s name was super cute. so hyped for the full release!

There is markedly less analysis, meta, art, fic, meme-ing about Suki than other fan faves. I think she gets surface level adoration because she is flawless (bc she didn't get a storyline centred around her to show any flaws), beautiful, badass, and a good love interest to a popular character.
