Oct 6, 2011 · Putting an XT6 and a Biturbo in the same sentence is flat out an insult to the XT6. Come on, man. Anyways, I've driven 4, and cut one into pieces head to toe. They are sought after because they contain the magic pieces to convert any pre-Legacy/Impreza Subaru (aka: Loyale, L-series, DL/GL/GL-10/RX) to the later Impreza/Legacy suspension and brakes.

Jul 29, 2018 · XT6s are not turbo. There is the XT (4-cylinder) turbo, and then the XT6 (6-cylinder) which were all NA. Also they are not all AWD, there were both FWD and AWD XTs and XT6s. I have had a few XTs. Very quirky cars but the platform has a lot of flaws.

Jan 21, 2014 · An XT6 will also have rear trailing arms with sway bar mounts (only turbo models and XTs got the rear bar); Whiteline does make bars for these cars, FWIW. Once you have the XT6 knuckles, you can bolt modern Impreza front suspension on with minor fiddling.

Longtime lurker / reader. Came back to the forums when a page popped up from this site w/ a discussion about owning/living with a Subaru XT6. Figured this crowd would most likely know of any for sale not on craigslist. I am looking for a 5-speed XT6 that is healthy mechanically (I don't mind rough cosmetics, provided it's not rusty).
